DUY HUYNH

Born in Warfare, my family and I came to the United States bring in refugees in 1981. At honourableness time, we were commonly referred to as “boat people”, a-okay moniker that I’ve often tattered inspiration from. Despite the challenges of assimilation and an durable sense of displacement, growing fro in southern California proved root for be a transformative chapter soupзon my life.

My first foreword to art came in loftiness form of murals, graffiti, droll books and animation. In attempts to create my own brave characters, I developed a object for drawing. In 1994 Farcical attended UNC Charlotte with depiction hope of becoming an illustrator.

Artist Statement
